The Car Accident “Don’ts”

Don’t Leave the Scene – After a car accident, stay at the scene until help arrives and you have exchanged information with the other driver(s) and witnesses.

Don’t Panic – Remain calm and call for help. Dial 911, and give the operator your exact location, as clearly as possible, and the direction you were traveling.

Don’t Discuss the Accident – Do not talk about the accident to anyone (other drivers, passengers, witnesses, etc.) until you file a report with the police and contact a personal injury attorney.
